Teresa is one of the leading female media managers in Malawi. For six years now, Teresa has been leading a team of over 40 journalists at Zodiak Broadcasting Station in one of the most vibrant newsrooms in Malawi. She has proven leadership in propelling ethical and investigative journalism having propelled to success her team which has continued to win the Electronic Media House of the Year Award in Malawi since its arrival on the media landscape in 2005.

 

Teresa has an accomplished eight year track record in the media industry. She is one of the leading investigative journalists in Malawi. She has over the years won over ten local and international media awards upon investigating a range of topics. Among these awards is a CNN accolade in 2010.

 

In May 2014, she earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School to aid in her quest in helping solve public policy challenges in the developing world.
